Routine consulting times are: 10.00am to 1.00pm; and 2.00pm to 5.30pm on Monday to Friday. The doctor on call or the weekend consults on Saturday morning are for urgent cases only.

We are doing our best to reduce waiting times in the clinic, but we need your help.
If you have a complex medical issue, need lengthy forms completed or have a number of issues to discuss, please advise the reception that you will need a longer appointment.
Also, if several family members need to see a doctor, please book a separate appointment for each person.
The practice works on a 15 minute appointment system for a standard appointment. When making an appointment please let the Reception know:
- The patients full name and date of birth and contact details; their regular doctor
- We recommend that you make a longer appointment for the following:
- Complete Medical Checks including CASA, Fire Fighting Medicals etc
- Care Plans
- Complex medical issues
- Women’s checks
- 4 Year Old Health Check
• Please make routine appointments ahead of time
Under certain circumstances prescription renewals are available without having to see the doctor. Please allow 48 hours for the prescription request to be processed. There will be a fee charged for this service. In some cases your doctor may require you to make an appointment to discuss your medications.
A fee will also be charged for referral requests, and in some cases you will be asked to come in for an appointment before a referral can be written.
Immunisations and Vaccinations:
Immunisations are available by appointment with both your GP and our Practice Nurses.
We offer Travel Vaccination advice along with Q Fever clinics. During the months before winter the practice also hold regular “Flu Vax” clinics for our patients.
This practice promotes preventative health care including screening and health assessments, care plans and antenatal care.
We also promote Men’s and Women’s Health checks and Children’s growth and development checks.
Occasionally this practice will invite patients to complete a questionnaire on their views of the practice and how it can be improved. These surveys are completely confidential and help us to improve our services. This practice aims to provide confidential, continuing, quality care to all our patients. However, if you are unhappy with any aspect of the care you received from this practice, please feel free to talk to your doctor or the practice manager about it. Every effort will be made to solve the issue. If you have a complaint which cannot be dealt with here in the practice you are able to contact the Health Care Complaints Commission of NSW. Please report to the reception so we can ensure you see your doctor as soon as possible.
Please report to the Cashier once your appointment has finished. Following this, please see any of the other receptionists to make any further follow up appointments that may be necessary.
If you are unable to keep your appointment please notify reception as soon as possible.
We endeavour to accommodate all urgent appointments. Please note that these appointments are usually “fit in” appointments and will therefore only be 10 minutes in duration. It would be appreciated if you could keep this consultation to only the urgent issue – the doctor will not accommodate multiple issues.
After hours care:
One of our doctors is rostered on overnight and weekends. For urgent problems after hours please phone 02 6772 2291 and a recorded message will give you the name and number of the doctor on call.
Home visits within practice hours are available only when the patient's attendance at the surgery is impossible. Please discuss this with your doctor. If you think you require a home visit because of an urgent problem, please phone the surgery or the doctor on call as early as possible.
Fees and billing arrangements:
Fees are payable at the time of consultation by cash, cheque, MasterCard or Visa. The GP’s at this practice bulk bill Veteran Affair Gold card holders, and childhood immunisations. If you have difficulty in paying on the day please discuss with your doctor or the cashier. Any procedures that are carried out during a visit will attract a higher fee.
In order to prevent interruptions to patient’s consultations our doctors do not take phone calls during consultation hours. We ask that you leave a message for the doctor and they will contact you at the end of their consultation session.
